1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Elektro Harz, owner Remco Visbach Lautenthaler Strasse 32, 38644 Goslar, Germany E-mail: info@elektroharz.de Telephone: +49 5325 5214108
2. Overview and Principles
This website processes personal data sparingly and only to the extent necessary. No advertising cookies are set, and no services from advertising networks such as Google Analytics are used. Only a technical setting (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is displayed. The offering is directed exclusively at business customers.
3. Accessing the Website and Server Log Files
When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically records technical access data in server log files. This typically includes the requested address (URL), the date and time of access, the browser type and version used, the operating system, the referrer URL, and the volume of data transferred. This data serves to ensure secure and stable operation and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in technically error-free operation pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted after a short period.
4. Hosting
This website is operated by an external service provider (hosting provider). The provider processes the log data mentioned above on our behalf in order to provide and secure the website. Insofar as personal data is processed in this context, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
5. Web Analytics with Plausible Analytics (cookieless)
This website uses Plausible Analytics for anonymous web analytics. Plausible operates without cookies and without storing personal data on your device. No cross-device profiles are created and no IP addresses are stored permanently; the IP address is only processed briefly and solely to generate an anonymous, non-traceable identifier, and is not stored. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly statistics pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Further information on data protection at Plausible can be found at plausible.io/data-policy.
6. Local Storage (localStorage)
To remember your choice between light and dark mode, a value is stored under the key eh-theme in your browser’s local storage. This value remains on your device, is not transmitted to any server, and is used solely to display the website correctly. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete this value at any time via your browser settings.
7. Fonts
The fonts used on this website (including “Sora” and “JetBrains Mono”) are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts), so no personal data is transmitted to external providers in this context.
8. Parts Search
The website provides a search function that lets you search for manufacturer or part numbers. The search term you enter is processed in order to display results. Provided you do not enter any personal data, no personal reference is created. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (provision of the function).
9. Inquiry Form and Contact
If you use our inquiry form (“Anfrage stellen” / “Submit inquiry”) or contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your business inquiry. The inquiry form specifically processes: your business email address, the manufacturer part number (MPN), the desired quantity, and optionally the manufacturer and a free-text note. In the case of further contact, we may additionally process your name, company, phone number, and VAT ID.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) as well as Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling business inquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law) prevent deletion.
To protect against automated spam, the form contains a technical check field (honeypot). No additional personal data is collected from you in this process.
10. B2B Portal
If you follow a link to the external B2B portal, the data protection notices of the respective portal operator apply to the data processing carried out there.
11. Disclosure of Data
Your personal data is only shared with third parties insofar as this is necessary to process your inquiry, you have consented, or we are legally obliged to do so. Processors (e.g. hosting and analytics service providers) act only on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
12. Storage Period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. After expiry, the data is deleted or anonymized.
13. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, please contact us using the contact details listed in Section 1 above.
14. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is, in particular, the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany).
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or to changes in the service and data processing. The current version published on this page always applies.
